Hey friends! We decided to postpone this event, in large part because ticket sales were slow and it's crunch time before the event. The main reason we decided to reschedule is because it wouldn't be fair to our hosts and burner community at Prototype. In addition to a venue, Prototype is a community living space, and hosting a large party would not have an insignificant impact on the residents. They've been very fair to us and the least we could do is reciprocate. Given the profit-sharing arrangements with them, it wouldn't be fair to Prototype to go into this without the revenue they expected. I also want to thank everybody, all the DJs, performers, organizers, participants and folks in our community who have been working to make this happen, and especially Lyle, Jon and Lourenso. When something does not go as expected one thing to do is figure out its lesson. If we want to build a healthy NJ burner community, which is long overdue, we have to actively support it.
