UPDATE: The Silicon Valley Ski Day is gonna be bigger and better than previously envisioned… stay tuned for some exciting updates!
It’s happening. This summer — ski real snow in Palo Alto, CA! We are trucking in 1,000,000 lbs of snow down from the mountains for a multi-day summer ski day in Palo Alto. Bring your skis, bring your snowboards, bring your craziest summer skiing attire. The Silicon Valley Ski Day will include a 1,000 ft long “Double Black Diamond”, an easier “Green/Blue” for skiing and sledding, and an epic Pond Skim! 100% free & all donations to teachers who make learning fun (see below). Anyone from the Bay Area is invited so please invite your friends. Liability waiver required for participation. Capacity is limited so please RSVP to lock in your spot. We will provide over 100 pairs of ski & boot rentals from local ski companies free of charge for participants, as well as another 100+ inflatable sleds for kids and adults. Food & drinks will be available for purchase from multiple local food trucks. Please make sure to follow all local laws and regulations while participating in the Silicon Valley Ski Day. The exact dates & location will be announced on the eve of the event. Get stoked! This is a free event. 100% of all optional donations will be awarded directly to K-12 teachers who go above & beyond making kids love learning.
