HYPERSOUL started on the dancefloor, born from real need, real release, and rhythms that take you apart just to rebuild you. It’s a feeling, a genre, a record label, and a cultural movement carrying forward the true spirit of house: Black, diasporic, soulful, rebellious, loving, and deeply human.
It began with a moment: OVEOUS, a poet and producer shaped by nyc lineage, has always known that music and nights out were lifelines. They were therapy, church, ritual. They were the fire keeping the culture alive in the city, literally. This is where it all began.
HYPERSOUL is his offering to the world: a space where music becomes medicine, where the beat becomes a bridge, and where the dancefloor becomes a place to come home to yourself.
We honor the roots while pushing the boundaries.
