March Program | History Open House and Historic Walking Tour with La Playa Trails Association You are invited to a special community event hosted by the Point Loma Assembly in partnership with the La Playa Trail Association. Historic Walking Tour Saturday, March 7, 2026 9:30 AM Reception Begin your morning with a Welcome Reception at 9:30 AM at the historic Point Loma Assembly, 3035 Talbot Street, San Diego. Guests will enjoy refreshments, historical displays, and a special presentation before the tours begin. Guided Walking Tours will depart from the Assembly at 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Please select your preferred tour time when reserving. During this unique experience, you’ll discover the rich stories of: • Frank Jennings and the Jennings House • The Chinese Community of Roseville • San Diego Yacht Club • Shelter Island • Portuguese Heritage of Point Loma • The Historic La Playa Trail - the oldest commercial route in the western United States, first traveled by the Kumeyaay people and later by early settlers.
