U-2 can build. One day. One theme. Open to engineering and CS students or recent alumni across Southern California: UCI, UCLA, USC, UCSD, Caltech, LMU, CSULB. CAD experience helps a lot, but if you've never done a hackathon, this format is forgiving: a clear idea explained well beats a half-working prototype. Per Tech Week rules, attendees must be current students or recent grads (within 2–3 years) from technical backgrounds. 1:00 — Check in, form teams 1:30 — Theme reveal 1:45 — Build 5:45 — Pitch prep 6:45 — Pitches, live feedback from the panel 8:00 — Awards Bring a laptop with a CAD software of your choice installed and licensed, a charger, and your student ID. Food and drinks are covered. Registration is approval-based and space is capped, so RSVP early.
