About the film- Palestine 36 is a historical drama written and directed by acclaimed Palestinian filmmaker Annemarie Jacir. Set during the pivotal Arab Revolt of 1936–1939 under British Mandate rule, the film follows Yusuf, a young man torn between his tranquil village and the growing upheaval in Jerusalem.
