AI-generated code is going into production. That's not the problem, that's the point. The problem is shipping it without knowing whether it's actually good. Most teams haven't figured this out yet. The top 5% have. They get 9x more code into production than the median, and that gap grew in a single quarter. The teams pulling ahead have built a software factory: a system that takes AI-generated code from creation to release, with validation and measurement at every step.
