Hi everyone! I’ve officially launched See You At Mine — a social club in the Jersey City/ Hoboken area, starting with cookbook nights but expanding into all kinds of fun, social events.
Our first event is a cookbook club, and we’ll be gathering in a semi-private space at a hotel bar/lounge in downtown Jersey City. We’re so lucky they’re letting us use the space, so please feel free to grab a drink or two while you’re there to support the venue!
Spots are limited to 35 to keep things intimate.
Our first cookbook is The Wishbone Kitchen Cookbook by Meredith Hayden.
Once you RSVP, please complete the registration form and choose your recipe in the Google Sheet. Then we gather and eat! Can’t wait to meet everyone!
Dress code: a touch of cherry red ❤️ (optional but encouraged)
PLEASE NOTE:
- You don’t need to own the cookbook — I can share recipes. DM me on IG (@joanne_strand) for photos of your recipe. You can also borrow the cookbook from your library!
- Please bring a small label with the name of your dish.
- Please plan to make the serving size your recipe recommends so we have a good variety.
- Serving note: Please use your best judgment to make your dish easy to share — for example, if you’re bringing sandwiches, cut them into smaller pieces so everyone can try.
- Please bring your recipe in its serving dish + a serving utensil. Plates and cutlery will be provided.
- Feel free to bring a container if you’d like to take home any leftovers!
