Zeit NYC: Flushing Food Crawl

Hosted by

We are running it back, this time hosting a food crawl in Flushing, considered one of the best neighborhoods for East Asian food in the city. Flushing, located at the last stop on the 7 train, was built by immigrant communities into one of the largest and most authentic Chinatowns in America, featuring regional Chinese food that is hard to find in Manhattan. Zeit is dedicated to bringing together New Yorkers who want to actually experience this city, and what better way than eating at one of the food capitals of the city. Our Stops: 1. New World Mall Food Court (Various Eats) This isn't your average mall food court with a Sbarro and a Subway. Featuring over 30 vendors, the New World Mall Food Court has something for everyone, representing so many diverse cuisines. We'll gather here before taking everyone to the smaller stalls around the neighborhood. 2. Shanghai You Garden (Peking Duck Buns) Every trip to Flushing has to have a Peking Duck Bun from Shanghai You Garden. Not only are they very affordable, they are delicious. 3. White Bear (Dumplings) Recently listed on the NYT Top 100 list, this dumpling stall is known for their great flavors, specifically their famous Spicy Wontons. Come hungry, come friendly
