Lil Bergamot & Friends cake exchange is back! This time we're in a new venue with a restaurant and bar on site, as well as pickleball courts & plenty of indoor/outdoor space. So how does it work? Everyone brings a cake & leaves with a box full of cake from other bakers! Love sweets but don't like to bake? Support a local business or purchase one from a trusted establishment. The goal of this event is to be in community with like-minded sweet lovers, meet local bakers/baking enthusiasts, and to sample some beautiful creations! The gist: ✶ bring a cake to share! ✶ you'll get a box, fork, and napkin upon arrival ✶ you'll get a wristband that will color coordinate with a group of tables. These will be the tables that you start sampling at (this way, everyone gets to start with freshly cut cakes) ✶ you will be able to move freely to other tables - trust me, there's plenty of cake to go around :) ✶ hang out and eat cake with your friends and hopefully meet new people! ✶ Local bakers/bakeries are encouraged to bring stickers/business cards/things to promote yourself! WHAT TO BRING: ✶CAKE! You must have a cake to enter ✶ knife/serving utensil for your cake ✶ a label with a description of your cake/list of common allergens ***There will be designated tables for gluten free/vegan cakes. We've had a large turnout for both categories in the past. ***It is up to you to make a mindful decision about participating in this event if you have specific allergy needs. Everyone who enters must bring a cake & have purchased a ticket. This is a family friendly event and tickets are not required for anyone 12 & under. Venmo is @OctoberCakeEvent.
