*RSVP is only for entry, and does not sign you up for the open mic* The legendary open mic + mentorship program started by MURS comes back to Chicago! Rappers who sign up are picked out of a hat to come on stage and rap for up to 5 minutes - anyone who performs can sign up for a 30 minute one-on-one mentorship session with MURS the next day. Sign ups begin at 5pm, and the event starts at 6pm. This month, our featured artist is Oswin Benjamin from New York! All Groundwaves events are free and open to the public - food will be provided! This event is supported by Good Chaos.
