DIY Air Filters (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Corsi-Rosenthal)
Come learn how to make the very simple air filter for your home!
Works for allergens, smoke and even viruses (if you use a sufficiently fine filter).
We will be making a simplified version of the Corsi-Rosenthal box (https://corsirosenthalfoundation.org/)
No materials will be provided, this is just an instructional class. If you want to build one at the class, you will need to purchase your own materials beforehand.
Required materials:
(1) Generic 20” x 20” box fan - Example: https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/42388499
(1) Cardboard box that fan comes in (we will be using it as material)
(1) 20" x 20" Air Filter
(I will be using a 20” x 20” x 1” air filter, but you can use 2” or 4” depth and go longer between filter changes)
(If you want one for smoke, viruses, etc, you will need to get a MERV 13 (or >MPR 1900) Air filter. However, any air filter is good, especially during allergy season.)

(1) Roll of duct tape or gaff tape (get a color like white or black if you want to make it look slightly fancier) (also we will have tape, you don't need to bring any unless you want a specific color)
