On Tuesday Aug 26, at 7PM Kimberly Lewis of Color Outside the Lines Collective is hosting a creative gathering at Parkhouse at McCarren Park to benefit the Women’s Prison Association Associate Board.
WPA is a non-profit that is near and dear to Kimberly’s heart, as she has been a volunteer with them since 2017 and currently serves as the Associate Board president.
The Associate Board is throwing a back to school party at the end the month for the children and families in the Easy Village and Brownsville shelters complete with music, face painting, food, arts and crafts and we plan to give the children a backpack full of supplies so they are ready for a fresh start for the school year!
Here's how you come in! We are collecting back to school supplies and donations for the little learners! If you buy something from our Wishlist or donate you are invited to our August 26th creative gathering for FREE!
We will be gathering for a soul-nourishing night of art, connection, and play, no art experience needed, all materials provided! Nourish your inner child, let’s create together!
