LA SÉLECTION returns Friday, March 6 for another edition of genre-blending grooves and warm dancefloor energy — hosted under the stars at Zizou, Lincoln Heights’ Moroccan-French patio.
For this new rendition of LA Selection, LAfille is joined by very special guest T-Kay, archivist, librarian, and DJ who hosts dublab’s monthly show the Archive of feelings. Her set brings a distinct sound, global gems and deep cuts to the decks from Latin funk to vintage 60s and 70s African and Cumbia bangers.
Expect a wide-ranging musical journey: from French boogie, global eclectic sounds to soulful disco/ house, percussive rhythms, and timeless finds — all curated for curious dancers and open ears and hearts.
