Our next Rural Modern Band Teachers meeting will be April 13 at 4:00 PM Pacific. I hope you’ll be able to join us as we reconnect and continue sharing ideas, strategies, and challenges relating to teaching modern band in rural settings.  Music Will Modern Band Summit – Travel Scholarships Available If you are considering attending the Music Will Modern Band Summit, I encourage you to apply for travel scholarships. There are some funds specifically prioritized for rural teachers, so if you or any rural teacher you know could use a little help getting to Summit I would encourage you to apply.  Modern Band Summit - Scholarship Mentor Program Check-In I'm also still hoping those who are involved in our mentor program can share how things are going. If you're a mentor or mentee, please feel free to share any feedback or experiences so far—what’s been helpful, what challenges you’ve encountered, or ideas for how we can strengthen the program in the future. Funding Opportunity The Let Music Fill My World Foundation has launched the 2026 Music Matters Challenge.
