Where music, dancing and community come together to raise funds for a local dance production. Inspired by the same jazz and blues spirit that fuels the upcoming Tara Jo Show, this evening is more than a fundraiser- it's an invitation to step into the world we're creating. Think smoky jazz clubs, indulgent melodies, timeless style. The kind of mood that makes you want to dance with a stranger! Gasp! Might you get that chance on August 22nd? 😏 At 🍸🎷Bluezy, Jazzy & Boozy 🎷🍸, you can expect social dancing to blues grooves & jazzy rhythms, local artisan treasures, live performances, handcrafted cocktails and a whole lot of vintage charm. Whether you've been dancing exclusively in your kitchen or you have danced on stages, the rooftop calls for your feet to swivel and sway! Your outfit is part of the vibe! Vintage-inspired jazz club attire (1920s-1960s) is highly encouraged! Think flapper glamour, swing era-elegance, rockabilly flair, classic mid-century style. Grab your favorite people, dress to impress, and let's turn the rooftop into a little pocket of magic! Here's a lil timeline of the night... 6pm-6:30pm- Get the drinks flowing, interact with our vendors, settle in 6:30pm-7:30pm- Blues dance lesson led by Jessie. Beginner friendly, no experience needed! 7:30pm-8:15pm- Refill your libations, show off your new dance moves with some open dancing, interact with vendors 8:15pm- Live performance by artists (drag, clown, singing, jazz dancing) 9pm-10pm- Sip, shop, dance, support the arts!
