What Comes Next? Part 2 — A Planning Workshop for Visual Journalists
Recent layoffs and changes across Washington newsrooms have left many photojournalists, video journalists, and editors navigating new questions about their work and careers.
WPOW launched What Comes Next as a space to respond — bringing the community together to share practical guidance, compare notes, and support one another through a rapidly shifting landscape.
Part 2 builds on that effort with a focus on working with editors, identifying project and grant opportunities, and strengthening how you present your experience and skills.
You’ll hear directly from editors and freelancers, gain practical tools for resumes and career direction, and have time throughout the day to connect with colleagues.
