Join us to celebrate the love of alternative photographic processes in Jarrett Esaw’s debut gallery “The Time You Fell In Love”.
Jarrett Esaw is photographer, educator and NYC native. His work is rooted in street photography while naturally extending across a range of photographic genres. His practice is driven by close observation and an interest in the everyday, using the street as a space for visual inquiry, experimentation, and storytelling.
Printing is an integral aspect of his practice. As an avid printer, he works using silver gelatin, alternative photographic processes, and inkjet printing, maintaining an intentional, hands-on approach from image-making through final print. This relationship to process and material informs the visual language of his work and reflects a deep respect for the history and craft of photography.
