Second Story Studios Presents: Prose and Cons with Kenzy Peach A 4 week writing club for writers of all mediums - essayists, story-tellers, poets, and beyond - to get inspired, stay accountable, share their work, and most importantly WRITE! Wednesday evenings in October 7:00-8:30pm $120 - via venmo *sliding scale scholarships available (apply using link above!) ||| About the workshop: Each week we'll chat about process, do some writing exercises, and leave with prompts to inspire us. There will be time to share what you've been working on if you so choose! The vibe in the room will be socratic, casual, and friendly - no long lectures or scathing critiques. Please bring a writing utensil and a notebook, with the option to bring something you wrote that week or a piece of writing that has recently inspired you. About Kenzy Peach: Kenzy Peach is a writer who finds writing both life-sustaining and deeply challenging. Her prose has made the rounds on substack, and her songs can be heard playing in only the coolest Portland coffee shops. Her play ‘Who Donut?’ won the Rod Parker Playwriting award in 2018.
