What?? A Partiful for Nigun Collective? Don't you guys only use janky spreadsheets to track RSVPs? Well, usually yes. But for our next addition we have something special planned... Joey Becker will be releasing an album of original Jewish music this Elul and celebrating the album release by joining Brooklyn Nigun Collective for our next gathering. Mixing Hebrew liturgy, English lyrics, and nigun, Joey's album "Still Small Voice" offers new melodies for prayer and communal singing. The first half of the circle will be community-led as usual, and Joey will teach us nigunim from his new album in the second half. Nigun circle runs 7:30 - 8:30 with schmoozing before and after. Please arrive by 7:30. Food? We'll have light snacks. Don't come starving. Access note: Up one set of stairs from street level. Come with a nigun to share/teach if you'd like! Not required at all though. Once we get into the niguning, we'll try to keep chatting to a minimum and keep focus on the music until we break the circle for the night.
