🏕️ Queer Hike Club Hosts Camping Weekend!
Jonathan Dickinson State Park | October 3rd & 4th
We put alot into hosting hikes for our Queer Hike Club communities… so this weekend is for US! 🌈🌲
Weather permitting , this campout is specifically for hike hosts and organizers to connect, unwind, and enjoy an event instead of being the ones running it. 😂
If we have extra camping spots after hosts and organizers RSVP, we’ll open them up to other QHC future hosts and members.
The intention is to get outside, hike, eat some good food, hang out, and enjoy a beautiful weekend together. If there is an activity you would like to lead we can make time for that too!
All experience levels are welcome! Never camped before? No gear? No problem. Let us know, we’re happy to share extra gear and help everyone get set up.
Saturday, October 3
2:00 PM — Arrive + set up camp
3:00 PM — Group hike
6:30 PM — Camp, cookout + fire time
Sunday, October 4
— Breakfast + slow morning ☕️
9:30 AM — Pack up camp
10:30 AM — Group hike
2:30 PM — Head home
⛺️We’ve reserved campsites together, and everyone camping will be assigned a site and a place to park. The car parking and amount of tents we can have is limited so please try to ride and tent share if and when possible.
🍃Camping spots are limited and available on a first-come basis, so RSVP to save your spot!
🥾Don’t want to camp? That’s cool too! You’re welcome to come just for the Saturday hike, just for the Sunday hike, or join us for both without camping. There will be separate Partiful events pages for the hikes.
✔️We’ll text out a simple packing checklist, campsite details, food plan, contact info, and everything else you need before the trip.

Attending is completely free, and contributions are entirely optional.
If you are able to help cover the cost of campsites and shared supplies, any amount is welcome and appreciated. No explanation is needed, and contributing is never a condition of attending. Let Danny or Avion know if you have a contribution. Hope to see you on the list!
