Please join us for a special screening of "Two-Spirit People" to conclude our Huitzulin 2S/Indigiqueer 2026 installation. 1991 * 23 MINS. * Documentary Short Film Created as a student project in the Native American Studies Department of the University of California at Berkeley, this video is an overview of historical and contemporary Native American concepts of gender, sex and sexual orientation. The documentary explores the tradition in which individuals who embody feminine and masculine qualities act as a conduit between the physical and spiritual world, and because of this are placed in positions of power within the community. Directed by Gretchen Vogel Lori Levy Michel Beauchemin This is a community event. Free with RSVP. Donations warmly accepted. Seating varies between couches and folding chairs.
