Art Book Hour is a book salon for art and photo book lovers, where we meditate on a selected art book or monograph. Our March book is “The Art of Ruth E. Carter: Costuming Black History and the Afrofuture, from Do the Right Thing to Black Panther”. This monograph follows the career of legendary Oscar winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter through interviews, written reflections, archival images, and new photographs by Awol Erizku.
