Finding new music can be hard. But when you do find a song that makes your ears perk up, it is a hit of dopamine straight to your soul.
And what do you do next? Maybe post it on your story, send it to a few friends, play it on repeat in your headphones while you move through the rest of your day.
No, no. These discoveries deserve to be experienced with others.
The Santa Barbara Listening Club is a space to come together, share, discover, and listen to music.
Inspired by Japanese listening rooms, or jazz kissa, the Santa Barbara Listening Club is built around treating music as the focal point. It is a night of intentional listening to the songs that your friends and community have recently fallen in love with.
So what next?
If a night like this sounds of interest, our first session will be February 25th. Guests are invited to submit recent music discoveries they want to share through the Google Form. From those submissions, a 12-track playlist will be curated for the evening.
