^◡^Forty poets read to celebrate 40 years of Poets House, the library and literary center that invites all to step into the living tradition of poetry.
Join the festivities and enjoy food, drinks, and birthday cake while celebrating 40 years of groundbreaking art in lower Manhattan. Featured readers include both established and emerging poets from a vast range of literary styles, all of whom play a part in the organization’s vibrant community.
Throughout the afternoon, each poet will take the stage to read a poem, creating a continuous cadence of poetry.
For this marathon reading, attendees are invited to join and step away from the reading at any point of the program.
