Enjoy dinner with Professor Maz (and us)! Who, you ask, is Professor Maz? Professor Maz grew up in pre-civil war Beirut, Lebanon, and came to the US for further education. He taught Mathematics courses for 47 years, but perhaps the greatest tribute to his impact as a teacher and mentor is the sheer number of former students who have loved and respected him for years. Bring your thorniest math questions, questions about growing up in Lebanon, and questions about how Professor Maz kept his heart for mentoring and shepherding students soft for decades.
