Fundraising can bring up a lot of different emotions– we’re socialized under capitalism to think that talking about money is rude or shameful. But when we’re building movements for justice, inviting our friends to help grow those movements with their time AND money can be liberating. We invite you to participate in a Making the Ask workshop with facilitator Kelly Baker on Thursday, May 7 from 6-7pm ET to develop and practice your fundraising skills. In this one-hour interactive workshop, we will discuss preconceptions about fundraising, develop a donor prospect list, and learn how to make a compelling fundraising ask. The goal is for you to leave feeling more confident and ready to make some asks! OPEN TO ALL
