Come hike, splash, and hang with local families at Eagle Fern Park! We’ll meet at the playground at 11:00 AM and give the kids about 20–30 minutes to play before heading out. Families can choose the 1.6-mile loop, which has a steep grade and steps, or the shorter loop under half a mile with several river-access spots. After the hike, we’ll regroup at a clearly marked river spot for river play, playground time, and a picnic. Bring comfortable walking shoes, water, snacks or motivating treats, and whatever your family needs for a picnic and river time. Kids are welcome. Parking fees apply at the park; if you have a Clackamas County library card, park passes may be available through the Cultural Pass program.
