Our mixed media short doc film 'BORN TO KILL, Love Money Sin' is going to this year's Tribeca Film Festival and we are here to celebrate with this community event :)) 𓂃˖˳·˖ ִֶָ ⋆ ִֶָ˖·˳˖𓂃 SEE BELOW FOR INFO ON SCREENINGS AND THE AFTER-PARTY, WHICH ARE SEPARATE. THIS PARTIFUL IS JUST FOR THE AFTER-PARTY. 𓂃˖˳·˖ ִֶָ ⋆ ִֶָ˖·˳˖𓂃 After two years alongside a kickass cast and crew, we are so excited to be making the World Premiere here in New York, where the story takes place. Directed by Sally Trần (*who will be at all events!) Co-produced by Hailey Eckroth, Sheena Alexis Suarez, Jessica Lưu Pelletier, A.C. Smallwood, & Kacie Barton 𓂃˖˳·˖ ִֶָ ⋆ ִֶָ˖·˳˖𓂃 FREE COMMUNITY AFTER-PARTY: While both screenings are currently sold out, we invite folks to join us for our free community after-party! You do not need to have attended a screening to join us for this separate event. Just kindly RSVP on this Partiful for headcount! This event will take place from 7pm to 10pm at Sugar Mouse in the Stage Room. We will be featuring a host of Vietnamese and AAPI creators to immerse you into the world of BTK (listed below). Come join us! 𓂃˖˳·˖ ִֶָ ⋆ ִֶָ˖·˳˖𓂃 Per venue rules, this is a 21+ space. ADA/ACA Accessible, masks optional. ART/FASHION • 'Become a Gangsta' live portrait booth and BTK-inspired temporary tattoos by the film's illustrator Sang Oh • BTK Merch and Zines by Ruth Kim & Vivian Zhang, the film's graphic designers • BTK-inspired nails by Jantira • Sally Fu Trần, sustainable fashion booth selling pieces made of repurposed dead-stock fabric from Việt Nam FOOD/DRINKS • Thèm Pop-Up, offering a variety of savory Vietnamese foods • Mật & Butter Pop-Up by Chef Kathy, offering a variety of Southeast Asian and Vietnamese sweets • Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar! ENTERTAINMENT • Bầu cua 'Gourd-crab' table, sponsored by Bo & Mei • Performers to be announced soon. All proceeds will go directly to vendors with merch and bầu cua games going towards the making of the upcoming feature-length version of the film.
