In this time of fear, chaos, uncertainty, many of us feel safer in masks than in our authenticity.
We challenge this false sense of safety and offer a storytelling open mic for liberated self expression and the stories that aren’t welcome at the family dinner table.
We call-in those longing for spaces of radical honesty. Whether your truth is related to experiences or just need to emote about what’s happening in the world. Your truth is safe here.
We invite: unpolished poetry, unfinished songs, scribbled stories on the back covers of notebooks, and whispers from the heart that feel stuck inside
Event Schedule:
-Welcome circle that creates safety to open up and express ourselves
-Story crafting warm up - we will provide prompts that help you write your story
-Storytelling open mic - the circle will open for each of us to share our truth and witness each other telling our stories
We are creating space for healing out loud. In sharing your story you will be held by a loving container of fellow truth-tellers and allies in healing.
Event Cost:
$25 for non-members of <the space>
