For our next Cook Club LA gathering, we’re leaning into Green Awakening 🌿
A celebration of everything fresh, vibrant, and in season right now.
Think asparagus, snap peas, tender greens, spring onions, and an abundance of fresh herbs — basil, mint, dill, parsley, chives — plus anything else that catches your eye at the farmers’ market.
This theme is about cooking with intention: bright, herb-forward, and alive with texture and flavor. Raw or lightly cooked, simple or layered — let the ingredients shine.
If you need a little inspiration:
• spring pea pasta with lemon + herbs
• green risotto with asparagus + parmesan
• herby grain salad with lots of fresh herbs
• green goddess potato salad
• strawberry basil olive oil cake or lemon mint loaf
Dishes can absolutely include meat or seafood, but we’re asking that green, seasonal produce plays a clear role — starring, anchoring, or thoughtfully woven through.
This is an elevated potluck-style gathering — we’ll be sampling many dishes, sharing ideas, and eating together.
This event is in Mar Vista. Attendance is limited. Your spot will be confirmed once payment is received. If your plans change and you’re no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
One Rule: Everything brought to Cook Club must be homemade.
Dish Guidance
- Sweet or savory dishes welcome
- Apps, mains, or desserts encouraged
- Dishes should arrive ready to serve (plated with serving utensils) and taste great at room temperature
- You do not need to cook for 24 people — small tasting portions are perfect
- One homemade dish per person is just right
If you sign up for a dish now, know that it can absolutely change as inspiration strikes.
Drinks: Feel free to BYOB if you’d like to bring a wine or beer to share. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Remember to bring a Tupperware container for leftovers.
