Are you ready to expand your balboa fundamentals? This four week progressive series starts with toss-out variations and takes you into an expanding vocabulary of fun and fancy turns, rhythms, connection, and energy for bal-swing. We’ll balance working on technique for both follows and leaders with creativity in a welcoming learning environment. It is also highly encouraged and celebrated for experienced balboa dancers to take this course to get to know their non-primary dance role.
This course is guided by a dynamic combo of Ruth Evelyn, Emily Schuhmann, and Toni Wickson and run by the emerging community organization Shuffle, Sway and Swing.
SSaS is a community run organization that seeks to create opportunities for folks in the greater Boston area to swing, shuffle, and sway. We look forward to sharing more about ourselves- for now come learn balboa and get to know us.
Sliding Scale Pricing :
$55 in advance, $65 in cash at the door: If you earn a moderate income and can afford to dine out and go on vacation, but there are other factors that frequently affect income like health problems, caregiving, and contract work.
$70 in advance, $85 in cash at the door: If you earn moderate or abundant income, can afford to dine out and go on vacation without signifiant debt or financial strains
$35 in advance, $35 in cash at the door: If things are tight, or you are out of work
