Kalorama PLANT SWAP/Giveaway at the Biltmore Triangle Garden (Sunday, Oct 26) Sunday, October 26, 2025, 1p-3pm. Bring a plant/Take a plant. Gardeners of the Biltmore Triangle Garden at Biltmore & 20th St NW (in Adams Morgan) are dividing and giving away landscape plants (Wild Hollyhock, Strawberry Begonia, Hosta, Bishops Weed, Liriope, native-Eastern Prickly Pear Cactus paddles), cut foliage (edible Korean Perilla, Rosemary herb for cooking), bulbs/rhizomes (Iris, Day Lilies), seeds (Cleome, Jewels of Opar, Lemon Balm, Larkspur, Brown-eyed Susan, Poppy, Wild Garlic, Amaranth) and house plants (Swiss Cheese Plant, Papyrus, Dracena). Senior gardener Sandra Reischel has created a superb Woodland Garden of over 25 different shade-loving plants under our Japanese Pagoda Tree at the Biltmore Triangle Garden. She will give a brief summary of her plant selections at 2pm. The event celebrates the volunteers and neighbors who support the garden, and advances its role in beautifying our community. Help us acquire some new plants for the spring! Donations can be made by checks payable the Kalorama Citizens Association (Attn: Biltmore Triangle Garden), Post Office Box 21311, Kalorama Station, DC 20009. Thank you! Pick up a plant, drop off a plant or garden related item to share with others or come to commune with other plant lovers. We look forward to seeing you there!
