Join Misophonia NYC for a relaxed picnic on the Great Lawn to celebrate World Misophonia Day! Whether you’ve lived with misophonia for years, were recently diagnosed, or are simply curious to meet others who understand, all fellow bats are welcome. 🦇 Bring a blanket, your favorite quiet snacks, and your wonderful personality. There’s no agenda, just a chance to connect, share stories, and spend time with people who get it. Our picnic blanket is a safe zone, and we’ll make sure no one is triggered. We’ll be listening to music and having quiet food. That said, we’ll be in a public park. People nearby may be eating, listening to music, or playing with their kids. If you’re worried about potential triggers, feel free to bring earplugs, headphones, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable. If you need to step away for a few minutes, we completely understand. 🧺 Free to attend. 📍 RSVPs are appreciated. ⛅️ Forecast: Mostly cloudy, 85°F. ⏰ Come for 10 minutes or stay all evening. 👋 Friends, partners, and family are welcome.
