On Friday, Dec 19th, Charlie will be performing at the Buskirk with a full band. He’s created something truly special with an incredibly talented group of musicians, and it will be so fun to see it come alive on one of Bloomington’s most beloved stages!
Creating large-scale productions like this takes an immense amount of heart, time, and devotion. Charlie’s last full production was three years ago, and I’m realizing more and more that moments like these are never promised. As artists, we never quite know when we’ll have the resources, capacity, and energy to bring something like this to life again - which makes gathering to support live music and dance feel especially meaningful. 💜
His show at the IU Auditorium was unforgettable, and this feels like a beautiful continuation of that creative journey.
I’ll also be performing a dance piece, and it would mean so much to share the night in community!
