Slow Tea aka gong fu cha is my homage to nearly 20 years of Chinese tea culture practice, study & appreciation. We will gather on the patio at Men & Beasts and sit for tea on a late Sunday afternoon. We will imbibe 2-3 curated Chinese teas. His journey with tea began in formative years having Middle Eastern / Eastern European ancestry and happened upon his first cup of puerh tea brewed in the gong fu cha tradition as a percussionist performing in San Francisco… Throughout nearly two decades of tea practice and facilitation, Adam has had the privilege to serve tens of thousands of cups to people around the world reminding one another that tea connects above all.
