Hey, let's spin something!! ππ« Join Flowtopia for a flow jam this Friday evening at Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick. The weather's great, so let's spin some LED's and snack on some potluck treats!! All levels are welcome. Please bring along a friend and something for the potluck , if convenient and accessible β if not, you are welcome to share!! β¨π
Bring your day props and LED flow props, some water, and maybe a blanket to sit. LED props will be fun if we stay after sunset. (We are applying for some LED props to be able to share more in the future... π). Videos will be super helpful for that application, so please share, if you are willing to share!! π₯°π« There are also lots of yummy places very nearby to grab extra food, if you get hungry, but we plan to have a few snacks. π
*Accessibility note: The park has four wheelchair-accessible entrances. π

"Always packed with people and activities, Maria Hernandez Park is the largest community park in Bushwick and the neighborhood's center of public life. Entrances to the park are found on each corner, and they connect to a circular plaza with a wild and undulating design that is often used for events.
Kids love the rainbow-colored playground found on Knickerbocker Avenue, with its big play area, nearby comfort station and a water feature perfect for safe play. The other sections of the park have active areas for volleyball, handball, basketball, and an asphalt little league yard with a workout area. An entrance on Willoughby Avenue is pooch central, and you can always find neighborhood pups playing in the small or large dog runs."
*Please note: Park restrooms close at 4 PM. Park closes at 10. I believe we will need to patronize local businesses to utilize their facilities, if needed. There are many nearby to choose from, if you want to check them out beforehand. π
