In chapter eleven, Dorian Gray becomes obsessed with perfume. He studies which scents stir the passions and which ones quiet them, believing the senses hold a kind of spiritual truth. As Lord Henry tells him early on, "Nothing can cure the soul but the senses, just as nothing can cure the senses but the soul." This month, La Lecturia follows him there. We'll meet at ELOREA for their signature scent pairing experience, where curated drinks are paired with fragrances rooted in Korean ingredients and storytelling. Each pairing invites us to explore scent through the added dimension of taste, a multi-sensory afternoon Dorian himself would have approved of. Please Note: • A one-drink minimum is required for this experience. Take a look at the link above for a preview of the drink menu. • Please arrive on time, as we'll be going in together and sharing the experience as a group.
