Young Adult Hike and Picnic

Do you want to get to know other young people in the congregation and enjoy some time in God’s good creation? Join us for a hike and picnic at Blue Mound State Park on Saturday, July 18! We’ll meet at 10:00 AM at the parking lot by the Blue Mound State Park Playground and begin our hike around 10:15–10:30 AM. The route will include portions of the Flint Rock Nature Trail and the Indian Marker Tree Trail, about 2 miles of scenic, hilly terrain. Kids are welcome, although parents should note that the trail is not suitable for strollers. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a picnic with good food and fellowship. Sub sandwiches with a variety of meats, cheeses, and toppings, chips, drinks, and picnic essentials will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish to share. We also recommend that you bring water bottles for the hike, lawn chairs or blankets, and yard games for the picnic.
