Join us next Sunday, March 22 for a panel on building a creative identity that carries across mediums, featuring Tida (Jiji's Jazz Club), Sam Levine (Don't Be Greedy), and Courtni Poe (GASP Zine).
Panel begins at 7:30 and will be followed by some time to mix and mingle.
Admission and seating will both be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP does not guarantee entry.
About the panelists:
Radtída (TÍDA) Norasingh is a first-generation Thai-Lao multi-disciplinary artist, activist, and founder of JIJI's Jazz Club. With an art style that is experimental and possesses a punky playful charm, Tída approaches life and projects in the same spirit. Determined to highlight the importance of Collaboration, not Competition, she consistently creates events, productions, and opportunities that feature artists of all mediums and levels. In a city obsessed with pretending not to care, Tída has developed a system that works for her and her community, allowing everyone to recognize their work, wins, and praises while detaching from ego and toxicity.
Sam Levine is the owner and founder of Don’t Be Greedy, a record label and management company motivated entirely by the value of art to the human experience. The current Don’t Be Greedy roster features Max Fry, ilykimchi, nothhingspecial, and 6 Dogs.
Courtni Poe is a director, photographer, and Founder of GASP ZINE. Born in Nashville, based in Los Angeles and London. Her work spans across advertising, sports, music, and more. GASP Zine is a print publication and Gallery dedicated to keeping print media and irl connection alive and accessible for all ages.
