Backyard Theater SF Presents:
~~MARY POPPINS~~
Mary Had a Little Mishap With the Spacetime Continuum
Mary Poppins is a self-important mommy blogger who's never met a kid in her life. Her "pivot to AI" goes disastrously, so she enlists her physicist friends, Bert and Bert, to send her back in time to fix her business mistakes. She definitely won't accidentally end up in Edwardian England... right??

-- TIMING --
Doors open one hour ahead. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the show starts - we will start letting in people without tickets at that time.
The show runs about 90 minutes, not including a 15-minute intermission for you to stretch your legs.
-- SLIDING SCALE DONATIONS --
This show, we are raising money for 826 Valencia, David Eggers' nonprofit operating out of the famed pirate-themed storefront and, of course, working to foster writing skills, creativity, and English language fluency among underserved SF youth! Learn more on their website:
https://www.826valencia.org/
Tickets to this event are priced on a sliding scale from $0 - $20. While $20 per ticket is the suggested donation and will be the default amount when Partiful redirects you to Venmo, please pay whatever you are comfortable paying!
A note on payment: when you RSVP, you'll be taken to a Venmo link. After you've paid, you're supposed to be directed back to Partiful. If that doesn't happen, please actively return and make sure your RSVP was recorded! In the past, we've had RSVPs not counted for that reason.
Tickets are refundable up until 1 day before the show. If you cannot make it, please update your RSVP so that we can re-issue your ticket to someone else. Email backyardtheatersf@gmail.com if you need a refund and please be patient - the refund process is unfortunately manual, so it may take up to a week for you to get your money back.
-- COVID --
This is an indoor venue and is likely to be quite packed, so there will always be some risk. We encourage you to wear a mask if you feel comfortable, to test ahead of time, and to stay home if you are sick - we will happily issue refunds if you need to stay home to protect yourself and/or others.
-- SEATING --
As usual, there will be a mix of couches, chairs, and (mostly) floor seating. And seats are first-come, first-served. We will open up all remaining seats to everyone (even those without a ticket) 10 minutes before the show starts, so if you bought a ticket, please arrive before then to claim it! If you bring anything to sit on that is higher than a cushion, please set up in the back to ensure you don't block others' views.
-- CONCESSIONS --
Please do NOT bring your own drinks (except for water) and instead help us support a great local business, The Faight Collective, by buying your drinks at the show! There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.
-- ADULT CONTENT --
The show will contain some adult content, particularly some drug references. It'll probably go over the heads of the littlest ones, but parents and guardians, be warned!
