Join us Wednesday, June 10th, for a beautiful Forró night at SELVA! This time, we're celebrating our dear CLARISSE, who's moving back to Brazil way too soon 😭🫶❤️
✴️ 7PM -> Inverted turns 101 dance class with FORRÓ BROOKLYN
This class will go over the basics of forró and then advance into a very BEGINNER-FRIENDLY kind of turn. Also good for seasoned dancers, as we'll work on variations of those inverted turns.
✴️ 8:30PM -> Live music with Flor de Massapê + FELIPE HOSTINS
Vinyl-inspired and focused on a repertoire of forró's old gems (1950's, 60s), this trio will keep you dancing all night with uplifting and roots-style melodies.
