AI is everywhere — in your phone, your job, your feed, maybe your love life. But do we actually know how we feel about it?
Come find out at our Tech Week AI Debate — a casual, opinionated night where we hash out the big questions over food, drinks, and a healthy amount of chaos.
How it works
We'll split into two sides and debate a few spicy AI topics — no expertise required, just a take. Rounds are short, arguments are spirited, and you're allowed to switch sides if someone makes a good point. The goal isn't to win. It's to actually think and learn.
Potential topics on the table
• AI is making us less creative — not more
• You should always disclose when you use AI at work
• AI companions will be a net positive for society
• Within 10 years, AI will make college degrees irrelevant
• Should we be polite to ChatGPT?
You'll be judged by Kevin Chen (peaked #40 nationally in competitive debate out of 3,800 teams) and by an AI that doesn't exist yet. We're building it. After the event, it'll listen back through recordings of your arguments and decide who won, and you’ll receive a detailed report of what went well or wrong.
Food and drinks provided. Come hungry, come curious, come ready to be wrong.
