Queer Book Club meets next on Sunday, June 7, for a Pride meetup in the Park with Potluck Brunch! Sign up, and we'll send you a link to the potluck planning. We'll be discussing two memoirs written by young Queer humans, living more than a century apart. Mary MacLane, a 19-year-old woman living in Butte, published her diary in 1902, titled "I Await the Devil's Coming." It shocked audiences at the time and became a bestseller! George M. Johnson is a Black, queer, LGBTQ+ activist and his memoir in essays explores masculinity, brotherhood, Black joy, gender identity, and consent. "All Boys Aren't Blue" has been one of the most challenged and banned books in the U.S. since its publication in 2020. Find out more about the books and where to get them at tinyurl.com/QBBookClub.
