After far too long, Amanda is making the trip from Lithuania, and we thought that called for a proper summer gathering! Join us for an afternoon of grilling, sailing, yard games, and catching up with family and friends at Lake Manawa. Andy has graciously secured the clubhouse and picnic area (with room for up to 50 people), and we'll have grills fired up with burgers and brats for everyone. 🥗 Potluck Time! Instead of bringing food for a crowd, we'd love if each family could sign up to bring a side dish, appetizer, fruit, salad, dessert, or dip. Please reply with your preference and McKensie will delegate to make sure we've got a good spread! 🍺 Drinks We'll have sodas, water, and a few cases of beer available. If you'd like something specific, please BYOB. ⛵ Sailing & Boat Rides Lake Manawa's weekly sailboat races will be happening from approximately 1:30 PM–6:00 PM, so there will be plenty to watch from shore. Andy will have his sailboat available for rides throughout the afternoon and is working on convincing a few sailing friends to bring their boats out too. If you'd like a sailboat ride, let us know when you RSVP so we can try to make sure everyone gets a chance to get out on the water. 🎯 Yard Games • Kuub • Polish Horseshoes • Cornhole Feel free to bring any other yard games you'd like to share (a.k.a. defend your Tier 1 status) 🌤️ A Few Notes • The gathering is outdoors, though the pavilion is covered. • Dress for summer weather and lake breezes. • Porta-potties are available, with limited indoor bathroom access. • Electrical outlets are available if needed. We can't wait to celebrate Amanda's visit with all of you!
