^⎵^okay here is the plan:
Meeting point: The bus stop at Myra Way & Dalewood Way. It’s right across the street from 1 Dalewood Way. It’s the blue on the map.
Plan: We will hang out a bit at the trailhead before starting up to the top. We’ll pretty much follow the red arrows on the map. Once we’re up top we should have a nice vantage point for some good birding so we’ll probably stick around in the general vicinity for a little while before completing the loop.
Birds: Some notable species we may be able to spot: cedar waxwings, lazuli buntings, pygmy nuthatches, California towhees, violet-green swallows, pacific wrens, and more!
Transport: It’s pretty residential and I think there is some parking but I’m not too sure. From maps it looks like there should be some on Dalewood Way just west of the meeting point. For muni it’s about a 15 min walk from a 43 stop or the 36 takes you straight there. You can transfer to the 36 from forrest hill station from K/L/M lines.
