Join The New Cari.com & Madnames for a community-led run/walk tour to get your steps in while exploring the history and local legacies that define Flatbush's streets. We will be featuring the living artwork by Khamaali Vernon, along with a special stop at Kings Theatre. We will end our time together at Aunts et Uncles. Complementary running (4 miles) & walking (2.8 miles) routes available for runners and walkers. DATE: [Saturday] July 11, 2026 ARRIVAL TIME: 11:00 AM MEETING POINT: Drummers Grove in Prospect Park (via Ocean Ave / Parkside Ave) Important Note: The tour will depart promptly at 11:20 AM. If you arrive late, you will need to navigate to the next landmark to catch up with the group. Thank you! The Route: We will move through the neighborhood in the following order: - 1 Lenox Rd - Erasmus High School - Dutch Reform Church - Kings Theatre - 782 Ocean Ave - Sears Roebuck Building - 3222 Cortelyou Rd - 3421 Snyder Ave - Aunts et Uncles Learn the history.
