SYNOPSIS:
"An Ethiopian Jewish Woman, a Black American Christian, and an Afro-Palestinian Muslim walk into a bar... and meet an Atheist and a Satanist!"
An online book club consisting of three Black Women gives each member a safe space to explore her relationships to current socio-political events, history, Abrahamic and pre-Abrahamic traditions, queerness, and each other.
Incorporating a mix of poetry, video, and movement in a somewhat surreal landscape, this play bridges different communities by their similarities and gives each woman a unique Black feminist lens by which she approaches the culture of her birth.
