👋 Asalaam alaikum (hi!), As Muslim founders/VCs, we are so excited to host a NYC-wide Ramadan iftar. This holy month of Ramadan is a time where we get to celebrate being in community with one another. Sponsored by JUV and Republic, we cannot wait to highlight what this month means to Muslims. This iftar brings together young NYC professionals, founders, and thought leaders to break our fast with. We still struggle to see Muslim representation in business, marketing, and in the mainstream so we are here to take up space! We will also have a non-profit partner, GiveDirectly to help support Yemen's humanitarian crisis through a Zakar fund.
