Get ready for what we hope will be the biggest family water balloon fight by Flushing Meadows lake ! 💦 Depending on how many families join, we’ll either have one giant battle or split into age groups—kids first, then adults—to help keep everyone safe. Bring traditional or reusable water balloons, sponge balloons, and/or water blasters, and label reusable items with your family’s name so they don’t get mixed up. Wear clothes or swimsuits you don’t mind getting wet, and bring a towel, drinking water, and a picnic snack or lunch if you’d like to stay afterward. At the end, we’ll take a few minutes together to clean up any balloon pieces and leave the park as beautiful as we found it.
